KFC HOT RODS Semi-Finals (Sunway Pyramid)

It was a cloudy day, looks like it was about to rain. I just reached my hometown Kedah for 2 hours. Papa drove all the way there from Damansara but he had to attend an important meeting so as soon as he reached Kedah, my mum drove him to the airport as he need to take a flight back to KL.
5 minutes after sending my dad to the airport, my mum drove out the place. I received a phone call (Goes something like that)

Sarah : Hello?
*Phone* : Hi, is this Sarah Syafiqa?
Sarah : Yeah...
*Phone* : This is from Fly.Fm I would like to notice you, you are selected for the KFC Shuffle your way to Melboune contest.
Sarah : Waaait... I'm in Top 20? (I really did ask this)
Fly.fm : Yes. You have to be in Sunway Pyramid on the 7th at 12pm.
Sarah : Oh okay, wow, thanks.
Fly.Fm : Okay, thanks. Good bye.



I stoned for a few second then, "MA!!! I GOT INTO THE FREAKING COMPETITION =D"
But LOL, I just send my dad back to KL now what? HAHA XD

The first thing I did was to call Shah *Chibi*

Sarah : Chiiibiiii~
Shah: Yes?
Sarah : SHAAAH
Shah : Yes?
Sarah : OMG, Did you get the call?
Shah : Oh my God, how did youu know?
Sarah HELL YEAH! AHAHAH! I knew you'll get it!
Shah : Lol.. haha yeah...
Sarah : I know cause I got it too...
Shah; Oh meh gawd thats' freaking awesome! Hahah.. who else got it?
Sarah : Uh.. I don't know... I hope Sham got it. That fly fm just contact me a few minutes ago.. but I just reached Kedah... heh
Shah : Oh.. but this is like one in a life time. Haha, you should come la
Sarah : I knooow but i just left the aiirpoort =.="
Shah : So you're not gonna come back? Come on
Sarah : Hahah~ I'll see about that. I gotta go. CONGRATS YAW!
Shah : Yeah, you too!


I can tell from his voice he is smiling widely behind the phone...

I was about to forward a few messages to Danial, Harris, Shamin and other few frinds of mine to tell them I'm shortlisted. After pressing "OK" Suddenly Harris called me

Sarah : Hello?
Harris : Sarah, did you get the call?
Sarah : OH MY GOD!!! You got it too?!!!! AHAHA!!!
Harris : Err no.. Abel got it.
Sarah : Err.. oh.. ok, Sorry... lol
Harris : Hahaha *laughs* FLY.FM called Abel. He's here
Sarah : Oh wow.. yeah I got it... Tell him congratz.. and I'm sorry.. maybe they call you some other time or something. Don't worry laaa~ haha
Harris : haha we'll see about it.
Sarah : Yeah but I'm like in Kedah now, I just reached.
Harris : Habis tu you're not going to come back? How long you gonna be there?
Sarah : I dont know.. I dont think so... we'll see... I'm staying till after raya la kot.
Harris : ahaha ok ok~
Sarah : Thanks man for calling me... =)
Harris : No problems haha

*I can't remember what we talked already after that but the only thing I know, Harris has at least one 'haha' in every each sentence. Laughing Machine*

I told a few people. News spreads pretty fast.

I decided not to go back... so on the next day, I told Farah (relative in KL)

"I got selected for the KFC shuffle thingy but I dont think I'd be going, Ticket bus all dah habes and stuff. Takkan i wanna take a flight for it. And everyone is here in Kedah for raya."

Somehow my dad and some of my cousins spread the news to some of my family member. And they go like "Let her go to the competition je la, she has gone this far... She can raya in KL, ada family jugak"

So my dad called and told me and asked me to decide. "Do you want to go for it?"

I said YES =)

6th of December, tommorow is going to be my big day. Its the shuffle competition. I'm going to take a flight back. From Kedah to KLIA, Farah and Tk Cik picked me up. I stayed in their house for a night, Atiqah was there too. Eagerly to go tommorow.

7th December. Esok raya, hari ni shuffle =) Tok Cik couldn't send so my dad's driver did. Abang Wan, he drove us there, I waited for Chibi for an hour... =o=
As I waited I saw Abel and Harris walking

Sarah : *walks towards them silently and grabbedAbelsBaxx whle Harris dint even notice me and walked straight*
Abel : Lol Sarah... Weh Harris! *Calls Harris*
Harris : *Turns back and walks towards me* Ee, you pakai make-up eyh? Hahahah

I have no idea why he laughed but I laughed back cause he laughed, its lame and funny...

We registered at 12.30... I thought it was top 20 but its actually top 60.... but only 47 was there..

One by one matched on the stage.. 1 minute to shuffle. There was this guy, who w call the dangdut guy. Yeaaah you'll know why when you visit his videos. He was wearing skinny pants with reflectors on it. Phats? Or skinny phats? WTF?

Coincidence, Abel sat on the front low, followed by Shamin then me. Haha! 3 of us made a GOOD combination.

Before the event started, me, Abel, Farah and this guy, the green shirt guy got called on the stage. We were asked to do some demo.

I partnered with Abel. Farah partnered with that who ever guy, haha! We shuffled, and I got a T-shirt =D One was black and the other one was brown, I wanted the brown one but Abel took it. On the stage malu malu, on the floor take my shirt lool! Hahaha!

The only thing that Harris do down the stage, Laugh.
Me and Abel fought for the shirt and we started running around with it. Abel gave to Harris but he is so blur I took the shirt away from Harris. Haha

Now they are starting to call one by one... I'm in the second group last person =.="

I still remembered the way how the MC's called Abel

MC: Oh! We have a female contestant Lets call, A-Belle Khor!
Abel : *Wtf??* Stands up*
Harris : HAHAHAHAHAHA! A-BELLE! A BELLLE! AHAHAHAHAHA!
Shamin : *Try to controls his laughing madness*
Atiqah + Farah : *Laughed at Harris*
Me : *Dint notice.... I only noticed when he said First female contestant*

Abel did liberty mohawk and piercing on his ears. It's so macho that people mistaken his name for a girl

MC : OH SORRY! It's Abel Khor Ju Yi! Lets see him shuffle!

I can never forget how was Harris reaction.


The mistaken many guys name for a girls name. MC really needs to do their homework. Did you know the judges were a KFC manager.. (a high rank one lah) and Seelan Paul =.="

They dont even have a scrap of idea about Shuffle. They give points on handwork, foot work, stle and dressing. I find it stuupiiiid.

A guy even shuffled with kaki kengkang, a guy with break dance, a guy with a lot of poppings. God, it was ridicolous.

THF who are shortlisted are Sham, O-Chibi, Me and Arieff (Arave).
My friends, Abel , Andz and Syahiran. HRAchik got in too.



But sadly, only Sham and Abel got into top 21. Top21? It should be top 20. Whaat is wroong with youu organizerz? I read the rules again after the competition in the internet. It stated top 20. Shame on youuuu.

But I had fun. A lot of fun. Especially when I went on to the stage with Ryu, Syahiran and Shamin to dance with Suki. She gave us the dirty hotrods, and we ate it. I spat it out, Shamin dint even eat it but Syahiran and Ryu did. Abel really laugghh haaaaaard at it.

It was an awesome day. My grandma came to watch too. My uncle, my three girlfriends. I'm so happy Bella, Mira and Iema make it. xD

Many people were frustarated because Chibi dint get inoo the finals. I'm frustrated about that too. But I'm very proud of Abel and Shamin especially. Shamin is my apprentice and he did very well. Abel had an injury during prom 2 nights ago but he managed to pull it off.

Instead of me and Chibi get it, that 2 dangdut guy got it, and that blue shirt guy who shuffled like kaki patah. Oh My GOOOOOD.

Apocalypse of Shuffle.

I hope Sham wins. I hope Abel get in the top 5 at least. I know they can.

Antagonist. Edward Cullen + Cedric Diggory. (Not Robert Pattinson)

The first young man I fall in love with in words written by the novelist, J.K Rowling would definitely be Cedric Diggory. He is potrayed as a charming young wizard whom captured Cho Chang's heart (I hate her though). He is humble, charming, handsome, well-mannered, smart and etc. We know he is perfect. I cried when he died. (I read the book duhh). For me, he is the best hero ever. Definitely. I like the way how he goes to a girl.

The Reality : Robert Pattinson. Acted as Cedric Diggory totally made me frustrated. I couldn't feel the charm. The love. Screw the director. I hate you director. YOUU SUUCCK. I really didn't like him at all. Robert is a good actor but not good enough for Cedric Diggory. Sadly. But I really heart that young lad in that book. J.K Rowling is good.



One day, I decided to watch Twilight. A B grade movie. I din't like the heroin at first (by judging the cover) And Robert Pattinson is the hero... again. Every girl fall in love with Edward Cullen. wonder why? I actually promised Abel and Harris to watch it with them this thursday but I happen to watch it with Farah today (Tuesday)

I MELTED! Oh my God. Just by watching the movie, I fall in love with his words, body work, promises. How he talked to her, how he tried to get her attention and teh way he expresses him self. (SPOiLERS ALERT!) The part I love the most when he came to res cue the girl, "I'm sorry" cause she got hurt by the mean guys. He promised to protect her and be with her eternity even when she's a human. He had the chance to make her into one of them like him but he loves her more than anything else and chose to make her stay as a human. She wanted to be a vamp of course. He did not allow that. Stephanie Mayer (The author) Absolutely created a hero in my heart. He is perfect. He plays music, loves her and knows how to joke. I LOOOVE the way how he approached her. I find that the best thing ever.

The Reality : I have not read the book yet. I will soon. Robert did a good job this time. The director is good though myself discovered some bloopers ina few scenes but who gives a damn? Such a touching and sweet story deserves it. I would not rate the movie cause it is based on a novel. But if that movie is good that I could give 9/10, I bet the book would be totally awesome. Joel was reading that book during chemistry and biology class in school. He could not take off his eyes. And yes. Edward Cullen stole every girls heart. Robert did a gooooood job ib this movie. I find that he suits it.

The last line : I love this two character coincidencely. Just because this two fictional character are played by the same actor it doesnt mean I like Robert Pattinson. But yeah, I like him playing as Edward but not as Cedric. Conclusion. My heart belongs to Edward Cullen =D

I'm watching it again tomorrow.. and the day after. I know, I know but I have never watched a movie this damn good.
